Jnani-Higher knowledge and Viveka

Higher Knowledge: Ahankara is delusion/myth no dissolution needed.

V 6.1 Ashtavkra (A) says, so just Desolve the Ahankara (no need to change ashrama).

Janaka (J) replies: Ahankara is a delusion/myth discovered upon enquiry!   No need to dissolve that.
Atma cannot “do work” or take ownership (e.g. space). similarly, Anatma cannot “do work” or take ownership (table, body) – it needs to be sentient.   There is no 3rd entity.
A temporary image (e.g. a reflected image in a mirror) with some features of atma (orig face, ownership), and some features of the anatma (distortions of the mirror, location etc).  Image is not real, because it not independent, it depends on both the original face as well as the mirror.
Similarly, ahankara “appears” to be real, until one enquires into it. Jnani has done that.

To acquire anything, need ahankara. To renounce the ahankara, need ahankara. Since ahankara is not there (thru Knowledge), no need to dissolve it.  Once  it is known there is no snake (on rope), there is no need to dissolve further. Knowledge itself is the dissolver!!  (so no sadhana is required!)??

Higher Knowledge: Anatma into Atma? only Name/form, no dissolution needed.

V6.2

I am like the ocean, and the universe is like wave (with N/F); this is Knowledge.  So, it has neither to be renounced nor accepted nor destroyed.
Panchakaran Varthikam by Sureshwar acharya,  explains how to dissolve the world in meditation.
For J, there is no more anatma (separate entity). so nothing to dissolve.
How can you dissolve Wave (appearance) into Ocean. Or  gold ornaments into gold (they are already gold). (unlike sugar into water).
Vachaarambhanam vikaro nama deyam. Wave exists only in your tongue as N/F.
There is no duality to dissolve.!

Higher Knowledge: world needs self to exist, no dissolution needed.

V6.3  J: I am like mother of pearl and the illusion of the universe is like silver; this is Knowledge. So  it has neither to be renounced nor accepted nor destroyed.

The world is like a dream (needs the dreamer). Similarly, the “appearance of silver, needs the mother of pearl’. Similarly, the appearance of the world needs Self (Brahman).

Higher Knowledge: Only Self exists, no dissolution needed.

V6.4 J: I am indeed in all beings, and all beings are in me.  This is Knowledge. Sot i has neighter to be renounced nor accepted nor destroyed.

Self is the only substance/substratum of the universe.  The One existence on which the universe isa mere superimposition.  That is meaning of “I am indeed in all beings,”
“All beings (are antma) is in me” –  they are mere N/F superimpositions, just as a dream in me.
Therefore there is only Satyam, all else is mithya.   Brings total peace.
